The Mountaineers is a youth ministry designed for kids in grades 5-12. We meet every Wednesday, except the last Wednesday of the month, from 6:30-8:30pm in the Pathfinder room at the church. We also usually meet one Sabbath a month for outreach ministry and group outing. Our regular meetings are from September through May and we have camping events and a camporee in the summer.
In your child isn’t old enough for Pathfinder, s/he can join our Adventurers Club for kids 8-9 years old that meets at the same time.
Our goals are:
- To know and serve Christ.
- Be a disciple to those in the Church and in the Community.
- To provide an atmosphere in which Pathfinders can become better acquainted with Jesus Christ as their personal friend including daily Bible readings.
- To provide Pathfinders with outdoor camping and recreation activities.
- To provide discipline and challenge.
