What is the Green Team?
We are a Team of people committed to share our faith in different settings in creative ways. We believe that God has given us an awesome and exhilarating mission and message to share with a world that lives in the now. This message we will not negotiate with but we for sure will find ways and new methodology to share it in effective and culturally relevant ways.

Find joy in being an instrument of God’s Kingdom
The beauty of the green Team is that it is not for perfect people. Neither it is for people who have it all together. It’s for people who desire to have God’s heart and with it reach others who are living under the oppression of poverty, injustice, real life difficulties, disappointments and hunger for Biblical Truth.
We call it Green Team because green is natures color and it is almost everywhere. It lets us know that there is life in abundance and that it spreads in every direction.
I would like to invite you to join us and trust the gift that God has given to you to touch a heart, which is the convergence of all the gifts given to Christ’s body put together to reach people with love, beauty, relationships and Biblical truth about God’s Kingdom.

How to get Involved...
The Green team meets every third Saturday of the month to either plan an event or to host a training event (we take a break for two months of the year—May and June) in the following areas:

Greeting team September 19, 2009
Learn how to greet with purpose and connect those who have no church or are visiting for the first time with other people so they may develop good relationships and be cared for. Learn the how’s and the what’s of bench buddies or become part of the host team--give a tour of the facilities, provide direction for those who are looking for a Sabbath School Class or a LifeGroup.

In-house evangelism: Feb-March 2010 & September-October 2010
Participate in fun and creative ways of sharing Biblical Truth with people who have not heard about the Jesus message. You can become part of the “Bench-Buddies” team or the “Greeters” team. Also you can work with the “Host Team” providing drinks and snacks at the end of the worship service. During this time our Children’s wing is very active, become part of them as we host families that come to visit our church during this time or just be available for skits and touring guides opportunities.

City Outreach March-April 2010
Dare to challenge yourself and the Spirit of the Lord to share your faith with a person in downtown Denver. Learn how to approach and be contagious with God’s love.

Training Events: (These training events happen at the beginning of the first four months of the year).

Community Chaplains
Most people are confronted with some type of crisis that life brings. CC will train you to be an effective listener and reach people where they are, at the time. By becoming more authentic in our approach to people we start learning a few things about ourselves.

Financial Peace University
Learn to gain control of your finances while sharing your faith. Invite a friend to learn these old but great ways of managing your finances and building wealth for your children as well to have the freedom to give to those in need or to give for an awesome cause, plus great vacations!!

“Spiritual Body Building”
Learn how God has designed you to become a meaningful presence wherever you go and are. From your spiritual gifts to learning about you and your passion to, what is Gods purpose for your life.

“Poet, prophets and preachers society”
Learn the art of preaching by becoming aware of the reality that surrounds you. Biblical preaching is not new. It has been an art form from the ancient times. In this training you will learn how to create and prepare a sermon. You will learn to dig in a little deeper into the biblical languages and historical context of the time of the poets and prophets. This class comes with a lab.
